This is a pictorial book dedicated to the popular succulent plant “Sedum” along with Echeveria.
We will introduce sedums that are popular not only in Japan but also in various countries. We also publish a lot of hybrids with popular Echeveria in recent years.
Various types of sedum grow naturally around the world, and even within the same variety, there is a wide variety of colors, shapes, and ways of growing.
Currently, taxonomic research on sedum is progressing, and it is being reorganized, such as sedum being distributed as a different genus. In this book, sedum and related species distributed in Japan are classified, and 160 species are recorded. I summarized the
characteristics and how to raise them from the basics to tips. We will also introduce ideas for group planting using the listed varieties. In addition, a sedum farm visit report by kurumi, representative of the Succulent Styling Association (R), is also posted. We will tell you about the environment and commitment of each farm.
