From July 20th to August 31st, 2023, “SHAMAN KING” ((C) Hiroyuki Takei, Kodansha), celebrating its 25th anniversary, will hold a tourism campaign “Mera Tabi in Kamigami no Kuni Izumo” in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. It will be held.
During the period, there will be a stamp rally, collaboration food with local restaurants, official goods using illustrations drawn by the author Hiroyuki Takei, and a setting material exhibition that displays cels from the TV anime “SHAMAN KING”. We are preparing plans for you to experience the whole of Izumo City, the hometown of the main character, Yoh Asakura, such as a high-speed bus tour plan with special benefits by Shinki Kanko Co., Ltd.
Anime tourism around Izumo City, the hometown of the main character, Yoh Asakura Izumo City, the hometown of the main character, Yoh Asakura, is known as the setting of the Izumo myth that appears in the Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters).
In “Mera Tabi in Kamigami no Kuni Izumo”, there will be a stamp rally around the places that appeared in the work and tourist attractions in the city, collaboration goods with newly drawn illustrations, collaboration food and drinks sold by local restaurants, etc. We will hold a setting material exhibition that displays the cels of the TV animation “SHAMAN KING”, a highway bus tour, etc.

A stamp rally will be held around the sacred places that appeared in the work! If you obtain a stamp rally card distributed in various places in Izumo city and complete it, you will receive an original novelty!

For this time’s “Mera Tabi in Kamigami no Kuni Izumo”, the author Hiroyuki Takei created a new illustration of the key art that imaged Izumo. Based on the concept of a trip to Izumo, characters dressed in unusual fashions will welcome you. In addition, we will develop promotions and collaboration goods and novelties using newly drawn illustrations.
3. Collaboration food & drink
We sell food and drinks made in collaboration with local restaurants. Purchasers will receive a random coaster with an original illustration (8 types in total). Stores where collaboration food and drinks can be purchased, details will be announced in early July.
4. Limited collaboration goods
We sell collaboration goods limited to “Mera Tabi in Kamigami no Kuni Izumo”. The contents of the collaboration goods and detailed information are scheduled to be lifted around mid-June.
