“Art students and music students can’t make a living that way.” There are many art and music students who fall under this fact. The reason for this is thought to be that the size of the Japanese art market is so small compared to other countries. On the other hand, there are not enough opportunities to learn art knowledge, grounding, and aesthetics both at school and in society.
In addition, due to the corona crisis, school festivals and
exhibitions that functioned as a place for artists to sell their works and develop their talents have been lost, and young artists are exposed to a harsher reality.
In order to overcome such a situation, we believe that it is necessary to revitalize exchanges and activities between artists and create opportunities to connect promising young artists with users who are looking for art.
