108 ART PROJECT (Secretariat: Yamashita PMC Co., Ltd.) was launched in 2021 with the aim of enriching the townscape with art and contributing to the creation of a lively town, and is a collaboration between building owners, partner companies, and artists. We have been developing various projects, starting with temporary fence art for construction sites.

2023 108 ART PROJECT Work title: “Star Star Tokotoko Tomakomai” This project, the 12th, uses the bus used in the self-driving bus demonstration operation carried out by Tomakomai City, which aims to create a walkable city, as the canvas, and artist Yu Hara, who is participating for the second time, wraps the exterior. Did. For the interior, Yu Hara and junior high school students from the city jointly created a workshop titled ``Mysterious Creatures Living in Tomakomai and Their Footprints.''
The title of the work is ``Star Star Tokotoko Tomakomai,'' and a colorful and fun bus tours the streets of Tomakomai.

This time, I was wrapping a self-driving bus, so I created it with the image of a mysterious creature carrying people around the city. The front of the bus hides its face with its hands, the sides are its legs, and the back is its tail. They are shy, newborn creatures. Self-driving buses are also a new technology, so we added to that. Inside the bus, there is a creature created by junior high school students. It is a living thing that lives inside living things.
