New captain of Spa Resort Hawaiians Dancing Team

“Spa Resort Hawaiians Dancing Team,” an exclusive dancing team for Spa Resort Hawaiians operated by Tokiwa Kosan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, Representative: Junichi Nishizawa), is led by Misaki Laurea, who is the captain and has been active as a solo dancer. Due to her retirement, sub-captain Hori Marae will become the 19th captain from October 1, 2023 (Sunday).
The new captain, Hori Marae, is from Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. In April 2014, she entered the Tokiwa Music and Dance Academy run by our company as a 50th class student. In July of the same year, she made her stage debut at the Tokiwa Music and Dance Academy’s 50th anniversary performance in Tokyo.
After that, she became the sub-captain of the team in April 2020 and became a solo dancer in November 2021. Along with the captain, he brings together about 40 members, and in addition to the stage, he also goes on a consolation caravan to disaster-stricken areas across the country, and supports medical workers and prevents infection while our facilities are closed due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection. We will continue to build on the history of the dancing team that our seniors have built over the past 59 years, and we will continue to build a team full of smiles that cherishes each day and moves forward so that we can become a bridge to future generations. I would like to do so.
